Venue: Coasta Sands (Downtown East)

Meeting Time: 7pm Pasir Ris Mrt on 2nd jan

Activities:(if there is nothing to do)

2nd Jan nite
meet, check in and Free activity

3rd jan
morn or afternoon
Sports(ultimate frisbee, captain ball, American Football, etc u get the idea)
Nite
Cycle to Changi Point and Night cycling(maybe to East Coast if ur butts can take it)

4th jan morn and aft
free activity??(sports or beach or watever)
nite
dinner at newyork newyork or someplace(lots of new restaurants)
pool or bowling or both or watever

ppl sure slp and check out by 10am

This itinary is for the case we do not have anything to do and to prevent us from rotting in the chalet. so it may not be followed to the letter. Do not take it for the whole truth.

Note:

the chalet will be damn damn damn small. So not all will slp(not supposed to slp aniwaes).

There will probably not be a bbq unless somebody is willing to go buy the stuff, marinate the stuff, book the bbq pit blah blah blah.


Guys most probably have to play american football so look up the rules and stuff.

Ppl who need to bring stuff:Benfrisbee, Janice volleyball, Alvin american football, Somebody bring cards(lyke duh), Everybody cameras(lyke duh also) and if u wanna play anything (boardgames, etc bring on ur own)

Bring one buck for entrance fee.

Normal and unnormal rules of chalet apply.

Price of chalet will be furthur discussed during the chalet but most probably under 20.

Lastly, i hope everyone with the exception of eugene(army) to turn up. This class chalet is also to celebrate(or should i say mourn) for the ppl who are going to attend National Service in jan and is the last time we see them with their hair on so wish them luck lol.

SO
1) Firstly, Christmas shopping should be done b4 christmas not during or one day b4 for tat matter. Secondly, the objective of christmas shopping is to buy presents for ur loved ones which u all probably didnt do. SO have u also heard of tat???

2) Since company is all tat matters lets all call off the chalet which i have a quater of mind(when u asked this qn) to do so and instead organise a outing at some funny location lets say alvins house. since its company is all that matters so how bout tat?? or maybe even just stayover and say its a chalet. The last time we had a stayover the overall turnout was onli jan gz mao those few so go ahead try. and yes how bout this the next christmas we just go on gather at a nearby bball court and just shoot a few hoops and say christmas gathering and then say those who dun wanna go are spoil sports. My point being, christmas day is supposed to do smth special not just do smth mundane(every day stuff). if u all went and had a bbq or a party or maybe even a simple gathering gift exchange thingy then i got nothing to say but shopping can be done anyday just lyke bball. Even if u use a excuse such as a SALE. Big deal. There are many sales, year end sales great singapore sale blah blah blah. Not lyke onli christmas there is a bloody sale. So, its lyke birthdays, if u treat it as an ordinary day, it will be an ordinary day. but if u celebrate it, then there u have a birthday.

3) The time we have together is limited. I totally agree. SO WHY THE HELL WASTE IT ON SHOPPING????

Hi s28, it's a long time ever since i last blogged. 'A' Level is over, time really flies... i was trying to think of what to do in the long holidays... hmm... why not we have some class gathering... i suggest going to k box... (although i know some will not want to go.) but anyone wants to go, just tag. Oh ya, are we planning for any class chalet? i hope gt... hehe~! anyway, my main purpose of blogging is not these. i post some pictures about the china trip. i was told by yi qing to post them.

and now for some of my thoughts:

it didn't strike me hard that 10/10/08 was gonna be the last day we'd be together formally as a class, whether sitting together or moving from lecture to classrooms together. just the thought of it saddens me because i never knew almost 2 years could fly that fast. it just shows how much i haven't treasured 07s28 as my class; this is my biggest regret in college life.

you know, when we went for lunch at Karu's Curry, i was elated that everyone was going (except for jaguar). although we spent quite a lot of time settling the bill (that's not the point), i thought it was a really 'full' meal in a sense everyone was there (except for jaguar again!). i just started to enjoy those 'full' moments when some began to leave after the meal, one by one. and as one by one left, it was as if my heart became less filled piece by piece... shawn, then chinyang yuehan liew rachel eugene yeeshian yiqing bong, then guihao marcus maggie (bday girl!) john, then miss cheng. the rest headed on to island creamery to have some drooling ice cream (black forest n nutella!). though it was half a heart, i enjoyed the most of it. maybe it's too late? time couldn't freeze. soon it was sam mao laoda darren jon, then marlene, then janice guozhen, then linhui, then jianqin. after i left jianqin on bus 67, i alighted with an almost empty heart, already missing the 'jokers' of 07s28 (refering to all). the only feeling i had then, was loneliness.

but all this doesn't mean we won't be able to meet up again after a's. but before we do that, we have to prepare ourselves for the final battle, so that we can celebrate our victory over the 2 years of torturous slavery. the grades are important, but so are the memories. memories will always be with us no matter where we go and all these memories are each unique to 07s28 cos only we possess them. a big thanks and congratulations to all our teachers who survived our nonsense.

i really hope that we'll be able to meet up as a class again after a's, say a chalet! meanwhile study real hard cos we've already played real hard and all the best for a's to 07s28 you guys rock! :D

hey guys. remember the gift exchange we had during CT on farewell assembly. the gift i got was from liew jh and guess what his precious gift was? A LETTER TO 07S28! it was very thoughtful of him to write us a letter so i'm posting it so that everyone can read it since it's for all of us. thanks liew!

I've been thinking what do I have that is special to contribute for the class, but I've realised that nothing is more precious and special than our thoughts for the people in the class at this present moment, our college life and our present feelings. And so, "SOMEHOW OR ANOTHER," I managed to get up to pin down my thoughts before I would lose them in the future.

Two years (or less) have passed by so quickly and I have to say that college life was not what I expected to be. Since the start of school, results and the 'A's I want to get was my number one priority. Everything else didn't seem to matter as much, and I thought it would be better if I was in one of the best class academically. But throughout these two years, college life did change me. I'm sure it's not just me that has changed, many of us have changed (or should I say that most of us have revealed the other side of us?)

Since the start of the year till now, everyone has changed so much. But at the same time, some things doesn't seem to change. we have all learnt how to get along with each other, get to know more about each other, each of our likes and dislikes, our individual habits (sleeping, sneezing, etc.). Not just each of us, but our class as a whole, remember the times when we had "peaceful" tutorials, (seems like we have most of these times from econs), either we didn't do our stuff or didn't want to answer the questions. Remember the things that we did managed to change, our results; (although by only a small margin); winning the FITTEST CLASS for 2008; winning a prize for CNY decoration (thanks to Yi Qing & Yee Shian's efforts)...

Surely, our efforts as a class did not just end here, we've also made certain people into "stars" of our class, always providing us with the joy, surprises that each of us would never have expected. Our liveliness that infects teachers during lessons (esp. during GP lesson) is also something worth remembering.

In short, I would like to express my gratitude for all the efforts and contributions that EVERYONE has given for the class. Let's "JUST" enjoy the last day we would be wearing uniforms and attend official lessons as a class. Promise ourselves that we would stop to have a chat if we see each other on the streets.
